Hey there!

The debate on whether or not this page was necessary went on for awhile... because, let's be honest, this site is to show my work and tell the stories of you... But, I do realise that means you are letting me come along for your story and you might want to know a little about me... no? yes? either way...

I like to capture memories, simple. Sometimes it's a scattered conversation on a sticky note, other times it's sitting back and taking it all in. But in the end my favorite form is with a camera- it has been since I stood in my childhood home at age ten and my grandpa took a picture and I wanted nothing more than to hold the camera in my own hands... 

I think that it's best you are warned of the following possibilities: I promise to always have a snarky comeback for your photoshop jokes... don't get me wrong, your jokes are funny, but I'm the comedian in this case, so bear with me. If there is even the smallest reason for me to climb on or over something in order to get a shot, I will. Don't worry, I'll be fine, just let me hang off the wrong side of the bridge, I promise, it'll be worth it! To go along with that, shoes can sometimes be a hindrance for these climbs, so if the venue and bridal party vibe works with me, the shoes are coming off.

In all seriousness, though, my favorite moments to capture are the natural ones, the first glimpse of the bride by her brothers. The tickle fight between dad and the sober faced 5-year-old. The engaged couples conversation because they forget that I'm there taking photos (trust me, this happens a lot... I no longer take it personally ;) those are the memories, not the poses, or the perfectly lit photograph, but the shots that tell a story... those are the moments that stop me and take my breath away.
